About the Captain

Meet your guide, a lifelong outdoorsman with over a decade of professional experience on the waters and in the marshes of the Corpus Christi Bay area. With a deep-rooted passion for both fishing and waterfowl hunting, Captain Torrey Nall isn’t just leading trips, he’s sharing a way of life that he lives and breathes every single day.
With 10+ years of guiding experience, Captain Torrey Nall has earned a reputation for consistency, skill, and a sixth sense when it comes to reading nature. Whether it’s tracking feeding patterns of redfish in shifting tides or setting up in the perfect flyway at first light, he has an uncanny ability to anticipate animal behavior, honed by years of studying wind, weather, moon phases, pressure changes, and wildlife tendencies.
Clients often say he has a “natural instinct” for finding fish and birds, but it’s really a mix of hard-earned knowledge, sharp observation, and unmatched dedication. He believes no two days on the water or in the blind are ever the same, and that’s what keeps him hungry to learn, scout, and improve with every outing.
More than a Guide
Beyond his skills as a hunter and angler, Captain Torrey Nall is known for being patient, approachable, and a genuinely great guy to spend a day with. Whether you're brand new to fishing or an experienced waterfowler, he’s a gifted teacher who takes the time to explain techniques, gear, and game strategies in a way that’s both engaging and easy to understand.
Kids, families, solo sportsmen, and seasoned groups all walk away with something more than a catch, they leave with a story, a few new skills, and often a new friendship.
Local Knowledge, Natural Navigator
Raised in and around the Corpus Christi Bay system, Captain Torrey Nall knows every flat, reef, back lake, and marsh like the back of his hand. With strong spatial intelligence and a near photographic memory for the local geography, he can instinctively navigate shifting channels and subtle contours in the bay, putting his clients right where the action is, even on days when the conditions get tricky.
His boat is always clean, his gear is always ready, and his mindset is always focused on one thing: delivering a top-tier experience, no matter the conditions or the skill level of the client. Whether it's a half-day trout trip, a duck hunt at sunrise, or an all-day cast & blast, he brings the same level of professionalism, heart, and hustle every single time.
If you're looking for more than just a guide, if you want someone who lives for the thrill of the hunt, respects the resource, and truly loves sharing it with others, you’ll be in great hands with Captain Torrey Nall.
